Myth #1: ADHD medication is all you need to treat anxiety in people with ADHD

The thing is, anxiety isn’t always caused by ADHD.  In fact, if your anxiety isn’t caused by ADHD then ADHD meds will likely make your anxiety worse. Even when ADHD is part or all of the cause of the anxiety, some people can’t or don’t want to take medication and are then left struggling with the symptoms of anxiety.

Myth #2: many doctors don’t have access to specialised ADHD therapy options
